The Downshire Arms Hotel has been a social meeting hub for generations to provide great food, exceptional pints and better craic. Commissioned by Lord Downshire, our historic building dates back to 1816 giving us it's famous charm that we are reknown for. Whether relaxing in the bar with friends next to an open fire, dining in our restaurant or staying in one of our individually decorated bedrooms, the Downshire Arms Hotel is the perfect location for business or pleasure.
A truly local run family business, the Downshire has passed through generations of the Heslip family. Most recently owned by brither Nigel and James Heslip, the Downshire has welcomed thousands of old and new faces over the years, not to mention some infamous guests and celebrities.
