AT THE DOWNSHIRE
Welcome to the Downshire Arms Golf Society. We were established in 1992 with a view to bringing our customers, who are from many different golf clubs, together, to play new courses and make new golfing friends! Playing the best and new courses all over Ireland with trips to the home of golf, Scotland and for some sun to Portugal and Spain!
After a great days golf we finish with a meal & prize giving. Then leading to the 19th hole, players relive the game and tell you how they “could have won”, if only for , “the slow greens, “fast greens”, “wrong club”. Let’s just say…their practice swing is perfect!!!
We play once a month, usually on a Sunday, with the exception being Captain’s and President’s day outings held on Friday’s. Visitors and new members are very welcome.
